Hosting and connection data
This website is hosted by IONOS SE, Elgendorfer Straße 57, 56410 Montabaur, Germany. When you visit, IONOS processes technical data including IP address, time, requested page, browser, operating system and, where available, referring page. This supports delivery, security and troubleshooting. The legal basis is Article 6(1)(f) GDPR; our legitimate interest is safe, reliable operation. Logs are processed according to the hosting provider’s technical retention periods. IONOS may also provide anonymised usage statistics on this basis. We do not embed our own analytics or advertising trackers.
Cookie banner and local settings
We save your external-content choices as “dsf-consent-v1” in your browser’s local storage for six months. It contains the permitted providers, choice version and expiry date. This setting is not sent to us. It is necessary to respect your privacy decision (section 25(2) TDDDG; Article 6(1)(f) GDPR). Change or withdraw it at any time via “Cookie settings” in the footer. The page then reloads and disabled content is no longer embedded. You can also delete cookies already set by third parties in your browser.
Spotify, Bandsintown and Spreadshop
These contents load automatically only after your consent. You may allow all providers or each one separately. Without consent the website remains usable, with external links as an alternative. The legal bases are Article 6(1)(a) GDPR and, where information is stored or read on your device, section 25(1) TDDDG.
When loaded, the provider receives in particular your IP address, browser and device details and page-view information. It may use cookies or similar technologies and associate usage with an existing account when you are signed in. Data may be processed outside the European Economic Area, particularly in the USA. For recipients, retention periods, transfer safeguards and your rights, see the providers’ notices:
- Spotify AB, Sweden: music player · Spotify privacy information
- Bandsintown, LLC, USA: concert calendar · Bandsintown privacy information
- sprd.net AG, Gießerstraße 27, 04229 Leipzig: Spreadshop · Spreadshirt privacy information
Shop orders, payment and shipping are handled by Spreadshirt. Vinyl enquiries are separate and go to the band.
Contact and vinyl enquiries
For booking and other messages we process your contact details and enquiry. The vinyl form processes quantity, name, contact email, delivery address, PayPal email, shipping preferences and an optional message. After review you can send via the website or open an email draft in your email program. Website submissions are transmitted encrypted to the server and forwarded to the band by email. The website keeps no order database. With email drafts, details are transmitted only when you send the email yourself.
Data is used to handle enquiries, agree availability and shipping and, where applicable, request payment and deliver records. Pre-contractual enquiries and orders rely on Article 6(1)(b) GDPR; general messages on Article 6(1)(f). Without required fields we cannot fully process a vinyl enquiry. If you later pay through PayPal, PayPal processes payment data under its own privacy notice. The form does not initiate payment.
Secure form submission uses a necessary session cookie “dsf_request” for a security check; it ends with the browser session. A hashed IP value and request counter limit abuse. The counter resets after one hour; temporary files are removed according to server cleanup. The legal bases are section 25(2) TDDDG and Article 6(1)(f) GDPR (preventing abuse).
Retention and recipients
We retain enquiries only as long as required for handling and fulfilment. Where statutory retention duties apply to business correspondence or accounting records, we keep the affected documents until those periods end (Article 6(1)(c) GDPR). Access is limited to band members handling the enquiry and necessary hosting, email, payment or shipping providers. Data is not passed on for others’ advertising purposes.
Social media, photos and downloads
Instagram, Facebook and YouTube are external links. Only when opened do you visit the provider, whose privacy notice applies there. No YouTube video player is currently embedded. Photos, fonts and downloads are served directly from this website and require no external-media consent.
Your rights
Subject to the legal conditions, you have rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing and data portability. You may object to processing based on legitimate interests and withdraw consent at any time for the future. Contact the person above to exercise these rights. The band does not use automated decision-making or profiling.
You may lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority, in particular the North Rhine-Westphalia Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information.
